Former Barcelona, PSG, and Juventus defender Dani Alves may be temporarily released from prison, where he is held on charges of rape, according to Mundo Deportivo.
The player was sentenced to four and a half years imprisonment. The charges were brought at the end of 2022 after the World Cup.
According to the source, a hearing on the request for Alves' temporary release pending enforcement of the conviction will be held on Tuesday, March 19.
Alves remains among the legends of Barcelona after the rape case verdict.
