Croatia defeats Canada at 2022 World Cup thanks to Kramarić's double

Croatia defeated Canada by a wide margin in the second round match of the 2022 World Cup. The game took place on November 27 in Doha at the Khalifa International Stadium.

Canada opened the scoring in the second minute when Davies scored after a Buchanan assist from the flank. Croatia responded with a goal by Kramarić, but it was cancelled due to offside. The next goal was scored by Kramarić as well - Croatia equalized in the 36th minute. Former Rubin forward Livaja put the Croatian team ahead by scoring in the 44th minute.

In the second half, the Croatians controlled the game, almost without letting the opponent do anything. 70 minutes into the match, Kramarić netted again to make it 3-1. At the very end Majer scored his fourth goal.

Now Croatia and Morocco share first place in Group F with four points. Belgium has three points. Canada is without points - it has no chance to leave the group. In the third round, Croatia will play Belgium, Morocco will play Canada.

Croatia - Canada - 4-1 (2-1, 2-0).
