Zinedine Zidane is being considered by the leadership of Bayern Munich as one of the candidates to replace current head coach Thomas Tuchel, according to Corriere dello Sport.
According to sources, preliminary discussions have already begun. It is also reported that the club's management has decided to terminate Tuchel's contract either in the near future or at the end of the season.
Zidane's last coaching position was at Real Madrid, which he left in 2021.
There is also information that Bayern Munich midfielder Joshua Kimmich had a heated exchange with Tuchel's assistant after the Bundesliga match against Bochum, where the team suffered a 3-2 defeat, and the conflict almost escalated into a physical altercation.
Earlier, journalist Fabrizio Romano reported that Bayern Munich's leadership held a meeting involving key figures from the club management after the same match to discuss Tuchel's future as the team's head coach.
