Sksyports confirmed that Chelsea's Conor Gallagher returned to England last night, and he is said to return to training at Cobham on Wednesday after flying back from Madrid on Tuesday with his move to Atletico on hold.
The English midfielder was on the verge of completing a transfer to Atletico after the Spanish side and Chelsea agreed on a transfer deal worth £34 million (€39.3 million/$43.1 million).
However, Gallagher's proposed transfer deal is now on hold following the collapse of Samu Omorodion's move to Stamford Bridge on Sunday.
