Publication Caught Offside has reported that several players of the English Premier League club Manchester United are questioning the recent decisions made by their head coach, Erik ten Hag.
According to the information, aside from the unsatisfactory results of the recent matches, several players are unhappy with how the 54-year-old manager is employing forward Joshua Zirkzee, which is affecting his performance. Moreover, there are complaints regarding the lack of sufficient playing time for winger Alejandro Garnacho.
On October 4, TEAMtalk reported that the Manchester United bosses are considering replacing Ten Hag with German coach Thomas Tuchel, who has been without a job since leaving Bayern Munich in May 2024. On the same day, club co-owner, businessman Jim Ratcliffe, told Evening Standard that he trusts Ten Hag as a coach, but the decision on his future would be made by the management team.
After six rounds of the 2024/2025 EPL season, Manchester United are in 14th place in the standings with seven points.
