Former Spartak head coach Massimo Carrera shared his opinion on the prospects of Georgian midfielder Khvicha Kvaratskhelia at Napoli.
"At the moment, Khvicha has shown that he has all the qualities needed to become a leader. If he has the ability to remain humble with the same competitive fervor, he can keep performing at a high level. Khvicha showed that he is a high-level player at the start of the season. Maybe in Napoli he found the stimulation and the right position on the field," Carrera told Sport-Express.
Kvaratskhelia became a Napoli player in the summer of 2022. He previously played for Lokomotiv and Rubin.
The midfielder played 11 matches for the Neapolitan club, where he scored six goals and gave four assists. During this period his estimated price went up by 20 million euros and is now worth 35 million, according to Transfermarkt.
