Former Liverpool and England defender Jamie Carragher commented on the game of Manchester City striker Erling Haaland, comparing him with the best forwards of the EPL in recent years.
In 37 matches this season, the forward has authored 30 goals with six assists. With City, the Norwegian has won the Champions League, EPL, FA Cup, UEFA Super Cup and Club World Cup.
The Telegraph quoted Carragher as saying:
To be truly world-class you need more than one, all-encompassing trait. Think of the best Premier League strikers of the last 20 years - Thierry Henry, Luis Suarez or Harry Kane - and they had or have a major influence on the biggest matches whether they scored or not. In general play, Haaland is not at the same level as these strikers yet.
Earlier, Roy Keane called the Norwegian's game in the match Manchester City vs Arsenal terrible.
