Real Madrid defender Antonio Rudiger could face a ban ranging from four to 12 matches due to his behavior during the Copa del Rey final against Barcelona, which ended 3-2.
Cadena Ser reports that the referee's report documented Rudiger throwing an object from the technical area, requiring intervention from staff members to restrain him.
The incident happened after Rudiger, upset about the ref's call on Mbappe fouling Garcia, was taken out of the game.
After receiving a red card, Rudiger attempted to approach the referee but was held back by his teammates. Moreover, he threw an ice bag at the official from the bench.
Rudiger has been with Real Madrid since July 2022, making 151 appearances for the club, scoring seven goals, and providing four assists.
Earlier reports indicated that red cards were also issued to Jude Bellingham and Lucas Vazquez.
