Black Footballers Partnership accused the Football Association of England of failing to comply with the Football Leadership Diversity Code, which is designed to address the underrepresentation of non-white employees in club staff. It was reported by Sky Sports.
Under the Code adopted in 2020, the clubs must aim for 25 percent of staff and 10 percent of coaches to be black, Asian or multiracial.
Black Footballers report states that black coaches make up only 5 percent of the total staff at clubs in England's four professional divisions. It is noted that only 10 of the 92 clubs in the English championship meet the necessary criteria. This includes Arsenal and Manchester United of London.
