Egypt and Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah may soon become a teammate of ex-Real Madrid forward Karim Benzema at Saudi Arabia's Al-Ittihad.
According to beIN Sports, the 31-year-old striker has agreed to move to the reigning Saudi Arabian champions. The transfer depends on the decision of Liverpool.
Earlier it was reported that Al-Ittihad is ready to offer the team a record €90 million for the signing of Salah. If the deal is formalized, the transfer of the Egyptian will be the most expensive in the history of the championship of Saudi Arabia.
The current agreement between Liverpool and Salah is valid until the end of the season-2024/25. Mohammed has been with the Reds for six years. In 2019, the Egyptian helped the team win the Champions League. Mohamed's former teammate Roberto Firmino plays for Al-Ittihad.
