Dani Olmo, the 26-year-old newcomer to Barcelona, may not make his debut in the upcoming opening match of La Liga, according to Relevo.
Sources indicate that Barcelona’s management does not plan to register the Spanish player until next week due to issues related to financial Fair Play. Additionally, Barcelona's head coach, Hansi Flick, after a few training sessions, assessed that Olmo is currently not ready to take the field.

Prior to joining Barcelona, Olmo played for RB Leipzig since January 2020, where he participated in 148 matches, scored 29 goals, and provided 34 assists. According to Transfermarkt, his market value is estimated at 60 million euros.
The 2024/2025 La Liga season is set to begin on August 15, with Barcelona facing Valencia away on August 17. On August 14, Mundo Deportivo reported that five Barcelona players had not been registered in Spanish La Liga just days before the season starts.
