Barcelona's leadership is no longer interested in acquiring Manchester City defender Joao Cancelo and Atletico forward Joao Felix, who are currently on loan.
Barcelona sits in second place of La Liga standings after 32 rounds with 70 points.
According to Sport.es, the players will remain part of Barcelona if their transfers are economically feasible. The senior management of Barcelona would prefer acquiring Cancelo over Felix, as the forward has not impressed the team's head coach Xavi Hernandez.
Earlier reports indicated that Barcelona plans to extend Robert Lewandowski's contract with a salary reduction. The Catalan club is also interested in purchasing Liverpool winger Luis Diaz.
