As per journalist Miguel Rico, Tottenham forward Son Heung-min and Liverpool striker Mohamed Salah will not be joining Barcelona during the summer transfer window.
Both 32-year-old players could end their Premier League careers after the current season due to their contracts expiring.
Sources indicate that Barcelona's sporting director, Deco, plans to focus on younger players in the upcoming window.
Salah has been with Liverpool since 2017, making 369 appearances across all competitions, scoring 224 goals, and providing 100 assists. His current contract with the Reds runs until the end of June 2025. Transfermarkt estimates the player at 55 million euros.
Son has been part of Tottenham since 2015, playing in 422 matches in all competitions and scoring 166 goals along with 88 assists. His contract with the Spurs is also valid until the end of June 2025, and Transfermarkt estimates his market value at 45 million euros.
Currently, Barcelona sit at the top of the La Liga table with 34 points from 15 matches.
