Atletico Nacional player Jorman Campuzano has been suspended for four matches following a controversial social media post regarding the refereeing in the match between Nacional and Millonarios. After the game, he addressed his 354,000 followers on social media to call for awareness about match-fixing in Colombian football.
The former Colombian national team player wrote the following post on social media:
Let’s take care of our football. The decision has been made and nothing changes, but it's time to open your eyes for the good of Colombian football where match-fixing exists in both categories. Thousands of fans go hungry just to watch a beautiful spectacle across the country, so I invite everyone, for the sake of our football, to be equitable with all. Open your eyes!
