Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta confirmed today in his press conference news ahead of their game against Brighton that new signing Mikel Merino is injured.
Merino joined the Gunners from Real Sociedad in the summer transfer, and he has now suffered a shoulder fracture during his first training session with the club. “It’s unfortunate. He has a shoulder injury, and it looks like he will be out for a few weeks. “He landed on the floor, and Gabi landed on top of him. [It was his] first session. It looks like he has a small fracture.”
