Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti has become the leader of the Real Madrid club in terms of the number of matches won in the Champions League after a 3-2 victory over Union Berlin in the 6th round of the group stage.
Ancelotti surpassed former Real Madrid coach Miguel Munoz, while having played fewer games as Madrid head coach - 56 vs. 71. The Italian specialist won his 42nd victory in the European Cup.
Real Madrid also won all six games in their Group C. The last time the Madrid club managed to achieve this result was in the 2014/15 season, when the team played in a group with Basel, Ludogorets and Liverpool.
Real Madrid are in first place with 18 points after six matches in Group C, while Italy's Napoli are in second place in the playoffs with 10 points.
Earlier Ancelotti came second in the number of victories at the head of Los Blancos in all tournaments, and also wished Xabi Alonso to lead Real Madrid.
