Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti and Manchester City coach Josep Guardiola are considered candidates to head the Brazilian national team, according to UOL sporte.
According to the source, the Brazilian football federation is looking for a long-term specialist to prepare for the 2026 World Cup after Tite resigned as head coach of the national team.
Guardiola has a contract with Manchester City until 2025, Ancelotti has an agreement with Real Madrid until the summer of 2024.
It is noted that other contenders for the position of head coach of Brazil are the current mentor of Palmeiras Abel Ferreira and Fernando Diniz, who heads Fluminense.
At the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, Brazil reached the quarterfinals, where it lost to Croatia in a penalty shootout (1-1, 2-4 on penalties).
