The house of Parisian football club PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi was searched by officers of the General Directorate Combating Organized Crime, AFP reported, citing its source.
It is noted that the police met with Al-Khelaifi when the president of PSG was boarding a plane. He was asked to sign a document that allowed investigators to inspect Al-Khelaifi's home without his personal presence. The club president gave his consent.
The investigator requested additional information and access, which was granted to him in a full and transparent manner, in full cooperation with the authorities.

The search is linked to the case under investigation for the kidnapping of French-Algerian lobbyist Tayeb Benabderrahmane in Qatar. The businessman said he was imprisoned in a Qatari prison in January 2020. He was later placed under house arrest until November 2020, when he was allowed to leave the country.
