According to Calciomercato, Stefano Pioli will leave AC Milan after the end of the current season. The club's management informed the head coach of their decision to end their collaboration a year before the end of his contract.
Club managers are discussing the terms of ending the partnership with the 58-year-old coach. Today, they met with Pioli's agent Valerio Giuffrida, presumably to discuss this matter.
Therefore, Pioli's final match as AC Milan's head coach, a position he has held since 2019, will be against Salernitana on May 25.
In the current season, Milan has gained 74 points from 37 matches and sit in second place in the Serie A table.
Earlier reports suggested that Paulo Fonseca from Lille could become the new head coach of the team. There were also reports of the club's interest in Antonio Conte.
