Auction house RM Sotheby’s has put the Ferrari 248 F1 up for bidding, the car Michael Schumacher drove during the 2006 season, which was his final year with the Maranello team.
Collectors now have the opportunity to acquire the car with which the seven-time world champion won races at Imola, the Nurburgring, Indianapolis, Magny-Cours, and Hockenheim. Given the impressive racing history of this vehicle, the auction house estimates that the final price for the lot could exceed 15 million USD, potentially making the Ferrari 248 F1 the most expensive Formula 1 car in history.
