Ferrari's driver Carlos Sainz sparred with his teammate Charles Leclerc in an interview with Sky Sports, accusing the Spaniard of breaking team instructions.
According to Leclerc, his Spanish teammate attacked too aggressively, overtaking him in the final turn at the start of the second lap.
Sky Sports quotes Sainz as saying:
It's too many times he complains after the race about something. I was on the attack. We had to go on the attack on the first laps when you have a new tire and pass them. I passed Charles because... I don't know if he made a mistake or was just managing a bit too much.
In April, the Spanish driver apologized to Leclerc for the situation during the sprint at the Chinese Grand Prix. Additionally, it became known that the British team Williams offered Sainz a four-year contract.
