Mercedes Executive Director Toto Wolff has expressed the opinion that Formula 1 should address the scandal involving accusations of harassment against Red Bull's Christian Horner.

I think what Red Bull has started as an independent investigation, if this is done in the right way, with transparency and rigor, that is something we need to look at. We are a global sport, one of the most important sports in the world, and we are role models. It is not just a team issue. It is an issue for all of F1.
In February of this year, Horner was accused of sending inappropriate messages to a team member. The Briton has been leading the "Bulls" since the team was founded in 2005.
Earlier, Red Bull stated that they do not consider it appropriate to comment on the incident involving Horner.
