Seems like the Australian women’s team took out a page of the men’s team and steamrolled the England side in a dominating fashion. Chasing 170, the Australian team put on a clinical display, which helped to ace the chase with three overs to spare.

McGrath’s wonderful run continues

Tahlia McGrath had a breakout international series versus India when she had a wonderful time with bat and ball. And well, she had a terrific showing in the Women’s Big Bash League(WBBL), and now it seems like she has only become better. She first inhibited England’s batting effort, conceding just 26 runs in four overs, while also claiming three wickets, doing a lot of damage in the death overs, curbing both the run flow and taking wickets, which did prove decisive in the end.

Then the batter came with a brilliant agenda during the team’s batting and took England’s ace leg spinner Sarah Glenn totally out of the attack. She and veteran Meg Lanning compiled a 144 runs partnership in just 79 deliveries, where Tahlia scored 91 runs in 49 deliveries, hitting 13 fours and a six. On the other hand, Meg Lanning hit 64 runs in 44 deliveries, hitting eight boundaries. Earlier, for England, batter Danni Wyatt scored 70 runs off 54 balls, and guess who got her wicket? Tahlia!
