American Chloe Kim, a renowned snowboarder has decided to not participate in the competitions this season for a mental health "reset". Kim won the snowboarding Olympic gold during the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics. She was also the youngest to win the Gold in snowboarding during the 2018 South Korean Winter Olympics.
I just want to enjoy this moment, take it all in and then get back to it when I'm feeling ready, I just want to kind of reset. I don't want to get right back into it after such a fun, but draining year. But, as of now, the plan is most definitely to go after a third medal."
