The second fight between interim WBO heavyweight champion Zhang Zhilei of China and British boxer Joseph Joyce will take place on September 2 in London.
The fight between Joyce and Zhilei, which took place in April 2023 in London, ended with the victory of the Chinese by TKO in the sixth round.
Zhilei, 40, lost in August 2022 to Filip Hrgovic by unanimous decision in August 2022. He has 25 wins (20 KOs), one draw and one loss.
Joyce, 37, fought in September 2022 against Joseph Parker in Manchester. In that fight Joyce won by knockout in the 11th round. He has 15 wins (14 by knockout) and one loss.
