Regular WBA lightweight world champion Gervonta Davis has converted to Islam. Former champion in three weight divisions Badou Jack announced that.
"Welcome to the Ummah brother," Jack wrote, posting a video of Davis saying a prayer after the leader.
Davis last stepped into the ring as part of a boxing night held in April this year in Las Vegas, USA. Back then, Gervonta was opposed by Ryan Garcia. Davis won the fight by knockout in the seventh round. He has 29 wins (27 by knockout) and no losses on his account in professional boxing.
