The Chairman of the General Entertainment Authority in Saudi Arabia, Turki Al-Sheikh, has announced that a rematch between Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury is tentatively scheduled for October 12-13.
Sheikh also clarified that the second showdown will take place regardless of the outcome of the first fight, set to be held on May 18 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Fury, 35, last fought in October 2023, defeating Francis Ngannou by split decision. He has 34 wins (24 by knockout), one draw and no losses on his record.
Usyk, 37, last stepped into the ring in August 2023, defeating Daniel Dubois by knockout in the ninth round. He has 21 wins (14 by knockout) without a single defeat.
