The purses for Ukrainian boxer Oleksandr Usyk and British fighter Tyson Fury in their upcoming rematch have been revealed. The titles of WBC, WBA, and WBO heavyweight champion will be on the line in this second bout.
According to The Sportster, the total purse for the rematch will be $190 million, split with 60% going to Usyk and 40% to Fury. This means that Usyk can expect to earn $114 million, while Fury will take home $76 million.
Recall that in May 2024, Usyk defeated Fury by a split decision in a fight for the title of the undisputed heavyweight champion. Usyk boasts a record of 22 wins (14 by knockout) with no losses, while Fury has 34 wins (24 by knockout), one draw, and one loss.
