A fight between former lightweight world all-around champion Téofimo López and WBO light-welterweight champion Josh Taylor could take place in the United Kingdom in May or June as part of a boxing night organized by Top Rank.
According to ESPN, the fighters' teams are still in talks.
Lopez, 25, had his last fight in December 2022, defeating Sandor Martin by split decision. He had 18 wins (13 by knockout) and one loss.
Taylor, 32, defeated Jack Catterall by split decision in February 2022. He has a record of 19 wins (13 KO) and no losses.
