Famous boxing coach and analyst Teddy Atlas spoke out about former undisputed world champion in the heavyweight category, American boxer Mike Tyson.
I don’t know if he was ever great. I know he was sensational. I know he was the greatest mix of maybe speed and power ever. I know he was one of the greatest punchers. But what does it take to be truly great? To not rely on someone else’s weakness to be strong, to be strong on your own. Too often, (Tyson) relied on other people’s weaknesses. To be able to find a way when your talent wasn’t enough – he didn’t find a way when his talent wasn’t enough.

Tyson last entered the ring against compatriot Roy Jones Jr. as part of an exhibition bout. That fight lasted the entire distance and ended in a draw by judges' decision. Mike has 50 wins (44 by knockout) and six losses in professional boxing.
