Starling last faced Angelica Martinez in a boxing rules fight in October 2022. In that confrontation, Taylor won by unanimous decision of the judges.
Last August, Starling fought Bare Knuckle FC women's flyweight champion Christine Ferea. Taylor lost that fight by knockout in the first round.
