Former world boxing champions Mexican Gilberto Ramirez and American Joe Smith Jr. are in talks for a bout, Fight Freaks Unite reports.
According to the source, this fight could take place in early October in Las Vegas (USA).
Ramirez, 32, had his last fight last November against Russian Dmitry Bivol. In this confrontation Gilberto was defeated by unanimous decision of judges. He has 44 wins (30 KOs) and one loss.
Smith, 33, entered the ring in June 2022 against Russian Artur Beterbiev. Beterbiev won the fight in the second round by knockout. Joe has 28 wins (21 by knockout) and four losses.
