Winner of the WBA, WBO and IBF heavyweight titles Oleksandr Usyk may fight WBC world champion Tyson Fury in March in Saudi Arabia. This was reported by ESPN journalist Mike Coppinger.
"According to my information, there are still talks going on about a fight between Fury and Usyk in Saudi Arabia in March. It looks like Chisora appears to be the only available opponent with a big name in the U.K.," Coppinger said.
Fury will fight against Chisora on December 3 of this year. This bout will take place at London's Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the United Kingdom. Fury last fought against his compatriot Dillian Whyte in April of this year. In that fight Tyson won by TKO in the sixth round. On his account he scored 32 wins (23 by KO) and one draw.
Usyk had his last fight against British Anthony Joshua in August of this year. This fight lasted the whole distance and finished in favor of Oleksandr by split decision. He has 20 wins (13 KOs) and no defeats under his belt.
