The 2020 Olympic boxing champion in Tokyo, Russia's Albert Batyrgaziev will face former WBA world super bantamweight champion Jezreel Corrales of Panama in his next fight, which will take place in early February in Russia.
"Albert will have his next fight in early February. His opponent will be former WBA super-champion Jezreel Corrales from Panama, the contract for the fight has already been signed. It will be a ten-round fight, the date of the match will be announced in the near future," said Eduard Kravtsov, Batyrgaziev's coach.
Batyrgaziev had his latest fight in the professional ring in November, 2022 against Ricardo Núñez. This confrontation went the whole distance and ended with the victory of the Russian boxer by unanimous decision. In April of this year, Albert defeated Heybatulla Hajialiyev by unanimous decision. Batyrgaziyev, 24, has seven wins (five by knockout) and no defeats.
