The WBA junior lightweight title fight between Hector Luis Garcia and Lamont Roach took place on the night of November 26 in Las Vegas (USA).
The fight went the full distance and ended with Roach winning by split decision of the judges.
Garcia, 32, previously stepped into the ring in January 2023, losing to Gervonta Davis by technical knockout in the ninth round. He has 16 wins (ten by knockout) and two losses to his credit.
Roach, 28, had his previous fight in July 2022, defeating Angel Rodriguez by unanimous decision of the judges. He has 24 wins (nine by knockout), one loss and one draw on his record.
