The grandson of famous Gambino crime family boss John Gotti III admitted that he is in talks with the team of former world champion in five weight classes Floyd Mayweather.
The first bout between Mayweather and Gotti took place June 12. In the sixth round, referee Kenny Bayless disqualified Gotti for multiple rules violations. John did not like this decision, stating that he would continue the fight and then pushed the referee aside and attacked Floyd. Later, the teams of the athletes entered the ring to join a mass brawl.
Look, I don't have any animosity toward Floyd. He was doing his job. I still respect Floyd. Right now we're negotiating. We'll see what comes out of it. Floyd wants to capitalize on that. So if they want to do it again, I'm ready.

Mayweather had an exhibition fight against Aaron Chalmers in February of this year. Because it was an exhibition fight, no winner was named, but Floyd dominated all the eight rounds.
