Croatian boxer Agron Smakici spoke about the sparring session with WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury, where he the champion got a cut.

Fury withdrew from the fight against WBA, WBO, IBF and IBO champion Oleksandr Usyk, which was scheduled for February 17 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The boxers' bout is now scheduled for May 18.

Boxing Talk quotes Smakici as saying:

It was a clean punch, so I don't feel bad. Fury says a lot of things but he knows how the sparring was with me.

Usyk's last fight was against Daniel Dubois in August 2023. Oleksandr won that fight by knockout in the ninth round. He has 21 wins (14 by knockout) without a single defeat on his record.

Fury last entered the ring against Francis Ngannou in October 2023. This fight lasted the entire distance and ended in favor of Tyson by a split decision of judges. He has 34 wins (24 by knockout), one draw and no losses.
