John Fury, father of WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury, has challenged former undisputed world heavyweight champion Mike Tyson to a fight.
John Fury said he wouldn't mind fighting the boxing legend in an interview to Second Out:
I love the guy, I named my son after him. And if he wants to fight me on the undercard, he can, no problem. I'm a fighting man, I'm old, but I'm a fighting man. He's a fighting man. He's old. We're two geriatrics. If we can entertain the crowd and put smiles on people's faces, let's do it.
Tyson last entered the ring against Roy Jones in an exhibition fight. That fight lasted the entire distance and ended in a draw by unanimous decision of the judges. He has 50 wins (44 by knockout) and six losses in the ring.
John Fury was engaged in professional boxing from April 1987 to June 1995. He fought a total of 13 fights, winning eight, losing four, and drawing one of them.
