Former WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury has revealed that he has not yet started preparing for his upcoming rematch with Ukrainian boxer Oleksandr Usyk.

Fury said in an interview with the YouTube channel iFL TV:

I have thought about walking away from it, because I'm over it now, I'm over the whole f****** boxing thing. Sit at home, go for a coffee, have a bit of dinner, taking me kids school, I can do what I want, I don't need boxing, I don't need to go and get my head punched in or punch someone's head in, I can just go down the pub, have a few beers, have 6, 7,8 pints if I want to every day. I've gone past the point of really caring, I did years ago.

The second fight between Fury and Usyk is set to headline a boxing event on December 21 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The first bout occurred in May 2024 in Riyadh, where Usyk won by split decision after going the full distance, making him the undisputed heavyweight champion. Usyk’s professional boxing record stands at 22 wins (14 by knockout) and no losses, while Fury holds 34 wins (24 by knockout), one loss, and one draw.
