Julia Lemus, ex-girlfriend of former world heavyweight champion Andy Ruiz, said the boxer abused her and their children.
According to TMZ Sport, Lemus filed a lawsuit against Ruiz on three charges: sexual, mental and physical abuse. Additionally, Julia reported child abuse. She specified that the boxer was under the influence of alcohol and drugs at those moments.
Ruiz denied all of the allegations, saying that Lemus was the one who initiated all of the conflicts.
Ruiz, 33, last entered the ring in September 2022, defeating Luis Ortiz by unanimous decision. He has 35 wins (22 by knockout) and two losses under his belt.
