UFC CEO Dana White has revealed plans to start his boxing promotion in 2025.
White stated, according to MMA Fighting:
People have been talking about the demise of boxing for 30 years and we’re still here talking about boxing right now. I have always had an idea of how I thought it should be done. I don’t know if that’s possible, but we’re going to find out. I’m coming in guns blazing.
It is worth noting that on September 15, UFC 306 was held at MSG Sphere in Las Vegas (USA), celebrating Mexico’s Independence Day. In the main event of the evening, Merab Dvalishvili defeated Sean O'Malley by unanimous decision, becoming the new champion of the bantamweight division.
