British boxer Joshua Buatsi will fight for the vacant interim WBO light heavyweight world title against Scotsman Willy Hutchinson.
This decision was made by the World Boxing Organization (WBO) and gave the boxing teams ten days to negotiate to avoid a bidding process.
Buatsi last fought against Dan Azeez in February this year. Joshua won that fight, which went the full distance, by unanimous decision. He has 18 wins (13 by knockout) and no losses.
Hutchinson last stepped into the ring against Craig Richards on June 1. That fight lasted the entire distance and ended in Willy's favor by unanimous decision. He has 18 wins (13 by knockout) and one loss.
