Chairman of the General Entertainment Authority in Saudi Arabia Turki Al-Sheikh announced that the fight for the title of undisputed world champion in the light heavyweight division between Dmitry Bivol and Artur Beterbiev will happen on October 12 in Riyadh.

Initially, Bivol and Beterbiev were supposed to meet in the ring on June 1, but Artur was injured and pulled out of the fight. Libyan boxer Malik Zinad agreed to step in as his replacement, only to be knocked out by Dmitry in the sixth round. Bivol boasts 23 victories (12 by knockout) without a single defeat.

Beterbiev's last appearance in the ring was against Callum Smith in January of this year. The fight, stopped in the seventh round, ended in Artur's favor with a technical knockout. He holds 20 wins (all by knockout) with no losses.
