WBA light heavyweight champion Dmitry Bivol revealed how he addressed former UFC champion Conor McGregor during his fight against Lyndon Arthur at Boxing Night in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
In an interview with Sport-Express Bivol said:
Conor was yelling so much to Lyndon after the first round. I look at him and I'm like, 'Conor, what are you doing? We’re mates, aren't we?.' He was like, 'Alright, I won't do it.'"And after every round, he and Cristiano were cheering me on. That was a funny moment. I looked at him after the round and he was yelling at Lyndon. I gave him a look, in a joking way. Of course he's going to be cheering for him. It's his compatriot.
