Former WBA light heavyweight champion Dmitry Bivol has called for an immediate rematch against his compatriot Artur Beterbiev. Moreover, Bivol's team has requested an investigation into the performance of one of the judges from their recent fight.
Bivol's team stated to TASS:
The appeal clearly states the need for an immediate rematch as well as a review of the judge who scored the fight 116-112. A letter of appeal has been sent to the WBA, WBC, IBF, and WBO. Media publications reflecting public reaction to the fight's outcome have also been included.
