WBC, WBO and IBF light heavyweight champion Artur Beterbiev has commented on his possible fight against WBA champion Dmitry Bivol.
On the morning of January 14, Beterbiev defeated Britain's Callum Smith by technical knockout in the seventh round.
Beterbiev said after the fight with Smith:
Of course I want the fight with Bivol. I want to take my fourth title and finish my work in this weight category. Becoming an absolute champion is the main desire.

Arthur's previous fight was against Anthony Yarde in January 2023. In this fight, the Russian won by technical knockout in the eighth round. He has 20 wins (all by knockout) and no losses.
