Great Britain’s Bethany Shriever has finished first in the race for women’s BMX World Championships. The second place belonged to Dutch cyclist Judy Baauw with her compatriot Laura Smulders finishing in third place.
The race turned in Bethany’s favour when Alise Willioughby who won the championships during the last go around got caught up in a three-player crash turning the tables for Shriever. Bethany who came in first place also has an Olympic Gold to her name which she registered during the Tokyo Olympics just a few weeks ago.
