IOC has released the guidelines to be followed for the Beijing Winter Paralympics and Olympics in the face of a persistent pandemic situation. As per rules, non-vaccinated athletes, officials, volunteers, and staff will have to undergo a 21-day quarantine.

Only people from China can acquire the tickets for the events slated for the Winter Olympics in Beijing. The Olympics is going to be held next year from four to 20 February, while the Paralympics will take place from four to 13 March.

Games participants who are not fully vaccinated will have to serve a 21-day quarantine upon arrival in Beijing. Tickets will be sold exclusively to spectators residing in China's mainland who meet the requirements of the COVID-19 countermeasures. Within the closed loop, participants will be allowed to move only between Games-related venues for training, competitions and work.
