This season in the Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA) has witnessed the breaking of three historic records in various performance metrics.
There are three players responsible for these remarkable achievements: A'ja Wilson, Caitlin Clark, and Angel Reese.
A'ja Wilson, star of the Las Vegas Aces and gold medalist from the 2024 Olympic Games with the USA team, became the first in WNBA history to surpass the milestone of 1,000 points scored in a single season.
Caitlin Clark, representing the Indiana Fever, set a record in her debut season with 321 assists, currently surpassing 325 assists for the season.
On September 2, Angel Reese from the Chicago Sky reached 405 rebounds for the season, with that number continuing to grow. Clark and Reese are currently competing for the title of Rookie of the Year, as well as for the MVP of the regular season.
