Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James broke the record for the National Basketball Association (NBA) All-Star Games, according to the league's official website.

The 39-year-old Lakers forward was among the five starting players from the Western Conference for the All-Star Weekend, which will be held in mid-February in Indianapolis.

LeBron will participate in his record 20th All-Star Game, setting a unique NBA achievement. The 39-year-old forward has not missed a single All-Star Weekend since 2003.

Previously, LeBron James was the first player in NBA history to reach the 39,000-point mark. The forward is a four-time league champion and four-time best player of the regular season.
